If you have been struggling to make time for your own self care, evaluate where you spend time being distracted during your day. Maybe you’re spending a little too long picking out your clothes, texting a friend, scrolling your social media feed, or even cleaning. Any mindless task could be a filler in your day to keep you from connecting with yourself. Simply eliminating a few distractions could help you find a few extra minutes for your daily self care goals.

Elimitating distractions is known in the business and psychology world as Attention Management. In yoga, we consider this mindfulness and being intentional with our time. I explain more in this quick video.
