Reiki 1 & 2 No experience necessary! Anyone can learn Reiki. 

Reiki Master: Reiki Levels 1 & 2 are required prerequisites. I recommend giving yourself 6 months to 1 year of regular Reiki practice before moving into Reiki Master, as this integration time helps you truly embody the energy and teachings. If you feel called to begin sooner, the training is open to you—just know that the depth of your practice will continue to unfold over time. There is no need to rush into Reiki 1 & 2 because you can offer professional certifications after level 2 training!

To keep the costs lower and shorten the duration of the training, 1:1 sessions with me are are not included in my Reiki training courses. They can be added on and booked separately. They are included with the expanded retreat option.

Some students like to experience first-hand how I personally go about offering a Reiki session. Reiki is a healing art and every practitioner will offer them in their unique way. You can schedule one anytime, I recommend before your training.

There is no need to do a 1:1 session with me beforehand, but I’m happy to offer it. Before is better because you will already receive a lot of Reiki during the training.

What is included in the Reiki training, is a powerful 10-minute attunement for Reiki initiation. This is very healing and transformative.

Yes, you are qualified after Reiki 2 to offer professional Reiki sessions. Many of my students now offer Reiki in spas and hotels internationally.

Many students start with a few free practice sessions on friends, then start charging at $35-50 for a practice session.

Experienced therapists charge upwards of $100/session, so you can quickly earn back your investment from Reiki training.

You may also simply use this training for your own personal development and healing. There is no requirement to offer Reiki Sessions professionally.

Yes. The International Center for Reiki Training advises a method for a two-day Reiki intensive for levels 1 & 2. My workshop is set over two days to accommodate learning and processing at a relaxed pace.

Minimum advised group class hours are 5 hours for Reiki 1 and 5 hours for Reiki 2 - this certification allows up to 12 hours of training. 1:1 training may be a little shorter in duration as we move more quickly through the material.

Trainings are relaxing and flow with ease. Reiki 1 is mainly lecture and discussion with peaceful meditation and self healing practices.

In Reiki 2, we learn more practical techniques and do some hands-on work, offering a practice Reiki session to another student or friend.

Most students feel energized from the training, so you can plan to enjoy other activities/social engagements on the same day as the training.

In Reiki Master, we focus on advanced Reiki techniques, which can occur over one or two afternoons. There is more meditation involved in Reiki Master. Because the practice is more intense, we will take a break mid-way through the day.

Yes, you can learn 100% online.

There are many Reiki courses online, but be aware that the only way to practice Reiki is to be attuned directly by a Reiki master. If you do a mass-produced online course, be absolutely sure you trust the facilitator to do a Reiki personalized distance attunement.

To learn Reiki, you must be initiated with an “attunement,” which is when a Reiki Master sends you the universal flow of Reiki from the masters in a short, powerful Reiki ritual. In this certification, you will receive Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 attunements. Master Level will receive Master attunements and learn how to give attunements.

Keep in mind attunements are a critical part of Reiki Certification. A mass-produced online course that lacks this component will not prepare you to offer Reiki; you will have the knowledge but will not be able to connect with it.

Reiki attunement takes about 10 minutes, but it is a very profound and essential process. It will have lasting healing effects and stimulate necessary transitions in your life. My attunements can be done at a distance with you online or will be done in person while in Sayulita.

During the training, eating healthy, getting lots of sleep, and drinking plenty of water to prepare is best.

Wear comfortable clothing for the sessions and bring a pen and paper to take notes.

Do your best to avoid excessive alcohol for a few days before and after your attunement. Bring snacks and water so that you can stay refreshed.
