World Peace Starts Within
Recently, I woke up having bad dreams about world events. In my dream, an AI war drone came down from the sky!
I live such a peaceful, quiet life surrounded by nature. Why would my mind ever go there?
Our collective energy and subconscious mind are heavily influenced by news of the world. Reports of wars. Natural disasters. Injustice. Billionaire weddings. The starving and desperate. Even movies and shows create stories around these dark themes.
We weren’t meant to process the entire world's pain each day in real time.
We don’t have the emotional stamina to witness the tragedies that unfold around the world nonstop.
I’m not saying we should turn a blind eye to tragedy and injustice. Empathy is beautiful, and it can propel us to take action. But we also have to protect this negativity from invading our subconscious mind.
All of this news has our nervous systems are on edge. We’re upset, anxious, scared, exhausted, stressed and uncertain.
We can create more peace around the world when we shut off the news and take time to breathe and re-center.
